Lumary is enterprise care-management software built on Salesforce, sold through a demo-gated process with no published price, and aimed at large and multi-site providers. Aura OS is built for the sole operator and small SIL provider, published price, self-serve sign-up, and it connects to the rest of the care team through Clearline Connect. If you run 200 houses across three states, Lumary is probably the right shape of tool. If you run a handful, keep reading.
What Lumary is, from its own site
Lumary describes itself as "the operational system for sustainable supports and care": a Salesforce-native platform connecting participant management, workforce rostering, SCHADS award interpretation, billing, compliance and financial reporting in one system. It's sold as separate product lines, including Lumary DC (Disability Connect, aimed at SIL) with two tiers, DC Pro for "small to mid-sized providers" and DC Enterprise for "larger, more complex providers with advanced governance, multi-site operations."
Lumary's own site states a scale of 200-plus enterprise and SME providers in Australia, $6 billion in annual NDIS funding flowing through its customers, and 500,000-plus care recipients. Pricing is not published anywhere on the site: every tier sits behind a "Request a Demo" form.
Where Lumary genuinely does more
Two things, stated plainly. Lumary's own site describes built-in SCHADS award interpretation, calculating pay against the award. Aura OS does not do this: it flags fatigue and rostering rule breaches (rest hours, shift length, fortnightly hours) and hands off timesheet data to an external payroll tool. If award-rate payroll is what you need today, that's a real gap and Lumary covers it, we don't.
Lumary is also genuinely built for scale that Aura OS isn't aiming at: multi-site governance across states, for organisations several orders of magnitude larger than the sole and small operator Aura OS is built for.
What Aura OS is
Aura OS is Clearline Health's compliance and operations software for SIL providers, built for the operator with a handful of houses, not a few hundred. Free for your first two participants, the full app, no time limit; above that, simple bands from A$290 a month, ex GST. No per-user fee, no per-house fee, free migration.
It runs a live audit-readiness score across six compliance pillars, 40 NDIS Commission-aligned policy templates, and a 60-second audit evidence pack. Rostering exists (scheduling, worker-to-participant assignment, a compliance override gate, bulk scheduling), but it is shift logging and evidence, not a full workforce-planning tool: Aura's own documentation says so directly, and points to dedicated rostering products for that job. Billing is a file you generate and upload yourself, a PACE-format CSV for NDIA claims and a draft invoice pushed to Xero, not a live NDIA connection.
The real difference: does it cross the organisation
Lumary, on every page we read, describes one organisation's own operations: its own participants, its own workforce, its own billing and compliance. Its "organisation wide coordination" language means coordination inside one provider, not across separate businesses. We found no feature on Lumary's site connecting a provider's records to a family, an external support coordinator or an allied health practitioner outside that provider.
Aura OS is one of four apps on Clearline Connect. A family runs Compass, a support coordinator runs Pilot, an OT runs Scrive, each their own account, each their own organisation in the NDIS sense. A Connect ID links them to a participant's record with consent on both sides: an OT's report can land in a provider's messages feed, a coordinator can pull evidence from the providers around a participant, a family can see confirmed shifts as they happen. That's the shape of the product Lumary doesn't build: not a bigger single-tenant tool, a different kind of tool.

When Lumary is the right call
If you're running an enterprise or multi-site operation with a Salesforce team and an implementation budget, Lumary's platform is built for exactly that, and Aura OS isn't. We'd rather say so than sell you the wrong fit.
Aura OS is for the operator this end of the market usually gets ignored by: a handful of houses, no implementation project, audit-ready the same day you sign up.
Common questions
Is Aura OS cheaper than Lumary?
Lumary does not publish a price; every tier is quote-only through a demo request, as at 9 August 2026. Aura OS publishes its price: free for your first two participants, then A$290 to A$1,200 a month by participant band, ex GST. We can't compare a number to a number Lumary hasn't published, but we can tell you ours.
Does Aura OS interpret the SCHADS award like Lumary?
No. Aura OS does not calculate pay or interpret the SCHADS award. It flags fatigue and rostering rule breaches and hands off hours to your payroll tool. Lumary's own site describes SCHADS award interpretation as a built-in feature. If award interpretation is what you need today, that is a real difference in Lumary's favour.
What size provider is each one built for?
Lumary names 200-plus enterprise and SME providers as its customer base, on a Salesforce-based platform. Aura OS is built for the sole operator and small SIL provider, typically a few houses rather than a few hundred.
Does either product connect to other organisations around a participant?
Aura OS does, through Clearline Connect: the family's Compass app, the support coordinator's Pilot app and the OT's Scrive app can each connect to a participant's record with consent. Lumary's own published material describes care-management, rostering, billing and compliance features for one provider organisation; we found no feature on Lumary's site describing a shared record across separate businesses.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Aura OS is free for your first two participants, the full app, no time limit. Lumary's pricing is not published, so we can't say whether it offers one.
