What eZaango is, from its own site
eZaango describes itself as "customised care management software": rostering and scheduling, staff clock-in with GPS and geofencing, timesheets, invoicing and payroll with integrations to Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, progress notes, incident management, document management with expiry alerts, HR and recruitment tools, a quality management system, speech-to-text note capture, and a participant-facing portal add-on called "Participant Pro". The same platform is marketed under separate pages for NDIS, aged care, support coordination, staffing and allied health.

Where eZaango genuinely does more
eZaango's own site describes GPS and geofenced staff clock-in, which Aura OS does not have. It also integrates with three accounting platforms, Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks, for both invoicing and payroll, where Aura OS integrates with Xero only, and only for invoicing, not payroll. If those specific features are what you need today, eZaango covers ground Aura OS doesn't.
What Aura OS is
Aura OS is Clearline Health's compliance software for SIL providers, priced by participant: free for your first two, then simple bands from A$290 a month, ex GST, no per-user fee. It carries a live six-pillar audit-readiness score, 40 NDIS Commission-aligned policy templates, and a 60-second audit evidence pack. Rostering covers shift scheduling, worker-to-participant assignment and a compliance override gate, described in its own documentation as shift logging and evidence, not a full workforce-planning tool. Billing is a file-based PACE CSV for NDIA claims plus a draft invoice pushed to Xero: no live NDIA connection, no payroll calculation.
The real difference: does it cross the organisation
eZaango's support-coordination page describes coordinators as staff you add to your own team, internal to the buying organisation. Its participant portal, Participant Pro, is described as connecting a participant to their own provider, not to family members or an external coordinator's own organisation. We found no feature on eZaango's site putting two separate businesses inside one shared record.
Aura OS sits inside Clearline Connect: a family's Compass app, a coordinator's Pilot app and an OT's Scrive app can each connect to a participant's record with consent on both sides, each party running their own account rather than a guest login into someone else's system. That's the structural difference: eZaango sells one organisation a fuller back office; Aura OS is built to be one node in a record several organisations share.
